About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to services provided by Blackstone Health Services ("we", "us"). By using the website or booking a service you accept them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

Not an emergency service

We do not provide emergency or crisis care, and our website, phone line and inboxes are not monitored for emergencies. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, call 998 (ambulance) or 997 (police) in Malawi, or go to the nearest hospital. See urgent help.

Information on this website

Content on this website is general information. It is not a diagnosis or a substitute for an assessment by a qualified professional. Tools such as the support finder suggest a starting point only; the appropriate service is confirmed with you directly.

Who can use our services

Therapy services are for adults aged 18 and over. Everyone taking part in couples or family sessions must be 18 or older. We may decline or end a service where it is not suitable, or where another kind of care is needed, and we will help you find an appropriate referral where we can.

Requests and bookings

Sending a request through the website does not create a booking. A session is booked only when we have confirmed a time with you and any payment arrangements have been completed. Clients outside Malawi are accepted subject to suitability, scheduling and any professional requirements that apply where they live.

Fees and payment

Fees are shown on the therapy page and are charged per session. Program and coaching fees are confirmed in writing before delivery. Payment instructions, including banking details, are shared directly with you after a service has been agreed. We never ask for payment details through the website.

Rescheduling and cancellation

Please tell us as early as possible if you need to reschedule. The notice period and any charge for late cancellation or missed sessions are confirmed in writing when your appointment is arranged.

Online sessions

You are responsible for joining from a private place where you cannot be overheard, and for a working internet connection and device. Sessions must not be recorded by either party without the written agreement of everyone taking part. If a connection fails, your therapist will try to reconnect or arrange another time.

Coaching and organizational programs

Executive coaching supports development and performance. It is not psychotherapy and does not replace mental health care. Organizational programs are delivered under the scope and terms agreed in writing with the organization.

Do not misuse the website, including by sending spam, attempting to access it without authorisation, or submitting false information about another person.

We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information on this website, or from interruptions to the website or third-party services outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Malawian law that cannot be excluded.

Law and changes
